A Day in the Life of an Ultra Shine Front Line Team Member

They may be rockstars but they’re just like us…. They need their coffee in the morning to function too!

But in all seriousness, our janitorial staff go the extra mile every single day to make sure your facilities are sparkling and safe. Their smiling faces maintain our high levels of service standards, throughout your facility day and night.

Since every facility is different, it’s hard to give a true day in the life view of our hard working front line staff, as we could go on forever! Each facility's unique needs determine the daily routine of our staff and can vary significantly from one building to the next. When it’s your job to make facilities shine, there’s never a dull moment. Ba Dum Ching! See what I did there 😜

Here’s a few small stories that give a glimpse into a day in the life of an Ultra Shine Front Line team member!

A customer’s restroom had started to flood and our cleaners jumped into action! Checking to make sure there was no damage for the customer and working with them to prevent a complete flood on the site.

In Century Miles and Century Downs, our cleaners also help to clean out the stables, meaning some of them can get a little spooked by the horses sometimes.

Our cleaners also like to take the extra step to find efficiencies to not only make their work easier, but also save money for our customers. One example is the creation of a stick magnet invented by one of our cleaner’s in California that allows a cleaner to remove staples from the carpet without having to get on their hands and knees.

Ultra Shine team members may find themselves in the middle of some very exciting events. Whether its cleaning at the race tracks or providing day services at some of our other entertainment spaces, the days may be non-stop action, but that’s what keeps it fun!
