A Day in the Life of an Area Supervisor

We won’t sugar coat it. It can be a roller coaster! But that’s what keeps it fun! Between training staff, implementing new processes, staying on top of budget and a million other things, there is never a dull moment as an Area Supervisor. A day in the life of an Area Supervisor can look very different depending on the day and the needs of the facilities in their region. Whether it’s problem solving, training, or simply checking into the sites to make sure everything is operating as intended, the diversity of the position is exciting and no two days are the same! We reached out to some of our Area Supervisors to see what they enjoy most about their day and this is what they had to say…

“I love the variety that I get in my day. Between driving site to site, I feel like each site has its own unique needs and challenges that keeps things fresh for me on a daily basis. No day is the same!”

“I really enjoy being able to watch the personal development of the Front Line Team. Ultra Shine is known for promoting within so it’s great to be able to watch a Front Line Team Member take on more responsibility and start to look at becoming an On Site Supervisor or even start looking to continue their development into an Area Supervisor!”

“The problem solving aspect of my job is one of my favorite parts. I feel like I am tested regularly. I enjoy being faced with a problem, and working together to find a solution that works for us and the customer.”
