Shining Stars of Q1 2022

The janitorial industry is full of ‘unsung heroes’ who are out there putting in the work to make sure customer facilities are safe for their staff and visitors. And Ultra Shine is no exception. At Ultra Shine, we believe it is important that we let our staff know their hard work does not go unnoticed, which is why each month a front line worker is selected to receive the Shining Star award.

January’s Shining Star was awarded to Dwi Handoyo. He has been working a long time for Ultra Shine and is consistently showing good performance and excellent customer service. Our clients rave about him because of his good attitude and performance. Dwi shows up for work in any weather condition and is highly motivated. An inspiration to us all.

Ultra Shine’s February Shining Stars were awarded to Amandeep Kaur and Natividad.

Amandeep Kaur has been a key member of Keyera team. Since starting, Keyera has always been one staff short and Amandeep has picked up the slack. She has shown herself to be a natural leader and shows great pride in her work. Those who work with Amandeep can see that she is a true unsung hero. Thank you Amandeep for everything you do!

Natividad strongly showcases what it means to be a Shining Star. A standout moment was when she had taken it upon herself to come up with an invention that makes a cleaner's lives easier. Her stick magnet allows a cleaner to remove staples from carpet without having to get on their hands and knees. The California office has since been recreating more of these and giving them to other accounts to help out!

March Shining Star recommendations were overwhelming! We couldn’t narrow it down to one so this month we recognized three Shining Stars; Pennie Wilkinson, Nichole Goldschmidt and Bryan Dizon.

Pennie has been a key aspect of Ultra Shine’s success in California. The integration of the California office into the Ultra Shine world and the creation of one cohesive company is a big project with hundreds of moving parts. Pennie has contributed long and countless hours to get this done on schedule and her communication and focus on the customer experience had helped lead to the project’s success. Thank you Pennie for all your hard work the last few months!

Nichole has been key in the successful implementation of Ultra Shine’s California acquisition. Even when working long hours and multiple trips to California to aid the transition, she never complains about her work load. Not only does she complete her regular duties but she also leads three project streams. Not only is she a boss at problem solving and her own work duties but she also always finds the time to be there for her coworkers and help them problem solve through their own obstacles.

Bryan has grown and developed so much from when he first started with Ultra Shine. He is appreciated and well respected by his team. Ultra Shine can count on Bryan to have a handle on things and to always be there if someone needs him. Everyone at Ultra Shine is happy to work with him and watch him grow. Thank you Bryan!
