Felipe - July's Shining Star

The janitorial industry is full of ‘unsung heroes’ who are out there putting in the work to make sure customer facilities are safe for their staff and visitors. And Ultra Shine is no exception. At Ultra Shine, we believe it is important that we let our staff know their hard work does not go unnoticed, which is why each month a front line worker is selected to receive the Shining Star award.

Felipe leads our Special Projects team in California. He has taken the initiative to solve problems in the field, train apprentices in floor and carpet care, and proactively provides ideas and solutions for our special projects operation. Felipe has worked through just about everything to ensure the work gets completed. He has stepped up when others cannot, and has even taken on jobs by himself just to get the work done. Felipe is naturally energetic and has a ‘can-do’ attitude in how he approaches everything.

Felipe has all the core ingredients to lead others and demands the best from those around him. He leads by example, not by just “cracking the whip”. In addition, his work is wonderful and is creating a buzz within our portfolio of accounts. Felipe will not compromise when it comes to quality workmanship!
