Be Brave Bottle Drive - 2023
We are thrilled to announce the success of our recent Be Brave Bottle Drive in support of Little Warriors. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to raise over $500, that’s over 5,000 bottles! Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization focused on the awareness, prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. The Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch by Ray LaBonte and Family is located on 120 acres outside of Edmonton, Alberta. It is a specialized, intensive, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment centre focused on helping children who have been sexually abused, as well as their families. It costs approximately $25,000 for a child ages 8-12 and $10,000 for a youth ages 13-16 to complete the year-long treatment program at the Be Brave Ranch. In order to remove financial barriers and make the program accessible to all children who require it, the treatment program, accommodation, food, 24-hour supervision and recreation activities are offered at no cost to participants.
Every bottle and can donated made a difference and helped us get one step closer to achieving our goals and helping the children in the Be Brave program at Little Warriors.
